How to highlight and show one country in map?

I am very new to arcgis and feel its very helpful to solve my problems in map.

1. How to highlight one country in map using different colors?

hi naresh,

this sample demonstrates how to load a feature service from ArcGIS Server or ArcGIS Online and allow users to highlight a particular feature by selecting it.

if this isn't what youre looking for please provide a little more information about how your own data is published and how you'd like to display and interact with it in your own application.

Thanks for your helpful reply.

I checked that link. Its very helpful to me and in that map only based on USA only.
I need same like to other countries and i saw another map based on Netherlands and i below mention that link for your review

My Requirements:-
1.Show the country with boundaries in map like 'Netherlands'(in above link).
2.Show the cities with different colors in separated boundaries(in above netherlands seperated by the municipal code).

I herewith attached my sample requirement map(SampleIndia.jpg) for your review.

are you looking for programming guidance or are you asking where you can find an esri service hosting the countries of the world?
