Empty Shp file being saved in CLIP and Ship GP

Hi,

When I am extracting and opening the ZIP file after running the clip and ship GP, shape file have all the fields but don't have any features in it. I have checked the output spatial reference it is same as the input spatial reference.

The same case is when I am exporting it to dwg file.

Can any have any clue for the same?

Does your GP service work correctly in ArcMap?

Yes the GP does work well in Arc Map.But on server it is giving empty shape files.

Have you tried tracing it with FIddler...it might be timing out?

In selection I am just selecting a single feature and then trying to export it.

I had this problem as well. One cause was I was creating a polygon but I was not actually closing the polygon. You will need to set the last point to the same as the first point. The confusing thing about it was that sometimes it bought back a small amount of data. But when I closed the polygon all of the data came back.
