Superscript in legend title in ArcGIS API for JavaScript

I would like to show in legend "Title" the superscript. I have this string "Building area (m2)" and I need this text "Building area (m²)". Which tag should I choose to display the text correctly? Thanks.

Here's a piece of code:

legendOptions: {
title: "Building area (m2)"
}

Have you tried using Alt+0178? (from Windows Character Map)
