Making a table from a feature layer service

I was wondering how I could go about making a table that pulls data from a feature layer service, filters the data and displays that table. For some reason I can't find anything that helps me with this. My initial idea was to create a map, that pulls the data, then puts it into the table but I cant quite seem to get something to work.

Thanks, I'm not as familiar with the ArcGIS API as i am with esri-leaflet but it looks like pretty much what I need.

I'm having an issue with logging in when it ask for credentials. At first I got an error that told me that I had to have a computer that is registered. To solve that I tried working through a computer that was registered with screen sharing software, but I got an error telling me my info ( my esri account info is what i put in) was wrong even though I checked several times. Any ideas?
