You could manually define the LODs for your map. See my post here: http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/36441-Default-Zoom-Slider?p=122991&viewfull=1#post122991

Hi,

I have added world street map 2D service and on top of it, I have added my editable feature layer. This feature layer has Min. Scale: 1129 and max scale of zero. By setting LODs, I am able to zoom in till the scale of 1128. But my data is available also beyond that scale. And I am not being able to zoom in to scale greater than 1129.

So how can I zoom in beyond scale of 1129, i.e. 564 or 282.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Sanjay.

The LODs are determine by the first tiled service loaded. If you are the world street map first, that is why you can not zoom past 1128.

Try loading your feature layer first, then loading the world street map as a basemap.

Thanks Jeff for the reply.

If my feature layer is added first. then it would be beneath the world street map and would not be visible.

Any other ideas?

-
Sanjay.
