Android Zoom Gestures?

When will Android two finger (pinch) be supported for zoom? Can you give us an update. Will this be for ICS (Android 4) only?

I believe Multi-Touch Javascript support started in Android 3. For 2.3.x devices, there are two solutions surfaced recently that simulate javascript event in native web view. See this for details: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=11909

I'm really looking for support out of the box. I thought I heard it was coming but only for android 4.0. Can someone from ESRI respond to this question?

I never heard a response from ESRI on this.

Are there any new releases or plans to add gestures to the Javascript API to Android out of the box?

My understanding from talking to a developer at the last Dev Summit was only Andriod 4 (ICS and Jellybean, etc) and above would be supported. I'm okay with that.

Has something changed to prevent that?
