Hello,

There are a couple problems with the WmsLayer in arcgis for javascript that we would like acknowledged and possible workarounds or fixes for.

The first of which can be observed at http://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/samples/layers_wms/ This is an arcgis "streets" basemap with a WmsLayer on top. If you scroll to the USA there will be dots. If you continue to scroll to the second, third, ...etc USA the dots will never load again as the the client continues to make requests with non normalized bounds.

The second of which, if the dateline is visible on the screen, the arcgis client does not issue two seperate WMS requests. The non-normalized single bounding box request that it generates returns an image that is full alpha over one part of the discontinuity.

thanks,

Jonathan
