<title>idea Esri Attribution customization in ArcGIS JavaScript Maps SDK Ideas</title>
    <link>https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-javascript-maps-sdk-ideas/esri-attribution-customization/idi-p/1688692</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;The Esri attribution at the bottom of the map should allow for custom styling. It is seemingly styled in the arcgis-map Shadow DOM and so external CSS can no longer affect it (until at least JS SDK 4.33, it could be styled in such a manner). Whether it can become its own map component (separate from arcgis-map) or if something can be amended to allow external CSS customization, it would help to be able to avoid the clashing of colors and schemes with custom-styled applications. To be clear, I am not necessarily requesting the ability to remove the attribution entirely (I understand Esri's aim to mandate its use). But custom CSS styling should absolutely be allowed and more easily attained.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
