Activate dynamic Layer

Hello,

I am new at ArcGIS Flex API. I want to create a tool that is the summation of some task. I am telling what I want to do.

1. When I click on the tool/Button, it will add a dynamic/feature layer.
2. At the same time the tool/Button will open a window.
3. Some tasks such as Find Address, Search, Query, Closest facility etc tasks depend on that very layer will be sum up in that window.

What kind of window do you wish to open, a floating window, popup fixed window, or infoWindow? You may need to look into downloading one of Robert's widgets.

thanks for reply. I have already created a Panel and put some button in it. Now I want, when I will click the button a specified feature layer (operation layer) will activate. As like tick mark in TOC.
