PASS VALUE FROM HTML/JAVASCRIPT

Hi,

My query is how do we open a widget by calling it from a URL ? I m using the sample flex viewer2.4 and i have to pass a value from HTML form and open my flex application with :

1. URL parameter - name of the widget
2. URL parameter - values from html to this widget.

My Query is opening a simple widget by URL.

what i m trying is -

http://Server/index.html?widgetId=18

When i run the application, no widget is open, Can u please suggest how can we open a widget by placing a call in the URL after index.html?"..."
