Does anyone know the status of the Flex application builder?
Last post I read it was going to be ready to be released in Sept?

We're currently planning a 2.5 beta of the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex in late October and a final 2.5 release later this year.

For this beta, we are planning:
* An application builder to easier create "ArcGIS Viewer for Flex" applications.
* Chart widget.
* Ability for end-user to "Zoom to", set "Transparency" and reorder the layers in "More..." and LayerList widget.
* etc

Update 2011-11-18: As mentioned in other posts, there are no longer plans for a 2.5 beta...

We're still working on the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex Application Builder. Based on some feedback we received during recent holistic testing, its released has been slightly delayed. We are still targeting a release sometime in the 4th quarter of 2011.

So is there going to be a Beta for the Builder or straight to final release in the 4th Quarter which is rapidly coming to a close.

Having just got into flex and the viewer as of 2.4, I'd also like to know the expected timeframes of the App Builder and the beta 2.5 ArcGIS viewer for flex. Certainly having the 2.5 chart widget and 'Zoom to' would be great if it's still expected this year.

The ArcGIS API and Viewer for Flex 2.5 release and the Viewer Application Builder will be released very soon, definitely before the end of the year.

There has not been a public beta since the initial 2.0 release.

Thanks Robert for the response. I kind of thought they would want to do a beta due to the introduction of the Application Builder. I'm currently beta testing the Silverlight Viewer and Application Builder and wanted to compare the two but a full release will work out just fine as well.

Correct, for 2.5 there will not be a beta.

However, there will be a 3.0 beta to support the ArcGIS 10.1 beta.

It's available now as part of the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex 2.5 release.
