Roberts TOC widget - How can I "grey" toc item labels based on scale?

I see in Robert's widget the check box grey???s based on scale. But, I would like the layer LABEL to grey, also. So, users know a layer or child is not visible/is visible at any scale - more obviously.

Any suggestions would be great.

As far as graying the label this already done in the latest version.
