search widget 2.2 (not SFV) problem

Hi guys
i have to use a widget search (not SFV) of Robert in a custom flex application with flex 3, and it's very nice. But now i'm searching to use that widget in a flex 4. i change more tags and i added new class, but after all i have a problem with record data.
it's possible to use this widget in flex 4?

I really did not have any plans on maintaining that widget. It was more of any example of how an non FlexViewer application could have the same functionality as a FlexViewer widget. If I come across some free time I will see about updating it for Flex 4.

I have a curiosity to ask. I'd like to change the GUI of SFV 2.2 with 1.3. is it possible? you have a link to target or some articles that I read?

Let me make sure I have your question correct. You want to take the FlexViewer 2.2 (which is now a supported product by esri) and change it to use the 1.3 version of AGS Flex API? I must have your question wrong and if I don't than the big question is WHY!?

I would like to use the box menù of 1.3 in sfv 2.2 because i have more widgets to develop and put in SFV.....only this

Maybe if you post screen shots of what you are talking about because I am not sure what you mean by "box menù of 1.3". Just as a point of clarification SFV means Sample Flex Viewer and that is talking about 1.x. The Flex Viewer 2.2 is not a sample any more so is not called SFV (just so when you talk to others they know what you are speaking of).

I'm sorry i said bad, i used the wrong words! I mean the 4 different widgets menù wich Are in sample Flex viewer 1.x and that i can modify in config.XML
But it's ok!

There is something similar in FlexViewer 2.2 it is called a widgetgroup. Look in the config-all.xml for an example of the syntax to use this functionality.
