Search Widget FaultCode=400

Hi,

My Sample Flex Viewer (version 1.3 running with ArcGIS 9.3.1) returns this error on a particular layer:

RPC Fault faultString=""falutCode="400" faultDetail="Unable to perform query. Please check your parameters."]

The code for the Search Widget is almost identical (minus some GUI related changes) to the original Sample Flex Viewer.

The same Search Widget works for other layers on different map services.

If I use the REST service to do the search on that layer, I actually get results back.

I have restarted/deleted the map service.

I have made the shape available (as evident with the REST service).

I am running out of ideas.

Can you use a tool like HttpFox, Firebug, Charles, Fiddler, etc. to compare the request sent from the Viewer with the request that's working in the Services Directory?

Hi,

For whatever reason it now works - without any modification to Flex code, services, data and mxd/msd.

The only thing I can think of is that we rebooted the machine.
