      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;No, the map doesn't keep its own history of extents. The Navigation tool is listening for extentChange events and using that to keep track of them.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
