topic MyInfoWindowRenderer Blues in ArcGIS API for Flex Questions

Greetings Everyone,
I have been customizing the 'Query, Click for InfoWindow' example at http://resources.esri.com/help/9.3/arcgisserver/apis/flex/samples/index.html?sample=QueryClickInfoWindow to make use of the MyInfoWindowRenderer component to report data in the map window. I have painted myself into a corner in two separate occasions and cannot figure out a solution for either case. The first problem is that I cannot seem to close the MyInfoWindowRenderer component when I no longer need it. The second problem is that if I utilize the MyInfoWindowRenderer component in a number of different widgets then I end up having data pertinent to each widget reported in the same map tip. I think that the second scenario could be remedied if I could only delete the MyInfoWindowRenderer component as needed. Is there any way to check the map for any MyInfoWindowRenderer components and delete any components if there are? This would give me the ability to start fresh with a new MyInfoWindowRenderer component as needed. Thanks, Tyler
