Hyperlinks using the Simple Info Widget

Hi,

The widget is working fine but I am having trouble getting the Link field to display the link as a clickable hyperlink. Currently the info pop window only displays the link as text and requires the user to copy and paste it into a browser. Is there anyway I can have the pop up window display it as a hyperlink?

The viewer team as never finished adding link support into the Simple Info Widget as of 2.2. Maybe it was completed in 2.3 but I don't remember seeing this fixed when I was beta testing 2.3.

Can you recommend an info pop up widget that does support hyperlinks? I am not displaying too much data...just a couple of field attributes and a hyperlink. Also, if I can use alias names for some of the fields that would also be great.

Another alternative is to not use the SimpleInfoWin widget at all. The new pop-up windows that are part of the core API supports hyperlinks and aliases (and more).

how can I do a simple hyperlink using the popup window? I see I can add an anchor in the description tag but then my fields don't display. I don't see a linkfield tag in the documentation.
