Copyright information of basemaps will not show automatically

Hi there,

I recently noticed, that copyright information of esri basemaps will not show up at the bottom of the map when the basemaps are used within ArcGIS Viewer for Flex (also API for JavaScript). I tried with a viewer I just downloaded (V 3.0) and which I did not configure at all. Then I compared with older Versions (2.5., 3.0 beta) - same result.
When viewing within arcgis.com viewer or explorer online copyright information will be shown.

Any ideas how to display the copyright information of basemaps in Flex?

Have you installed the Copyright widget ( http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=3893f396489344aa9f8fcdef15b3fe1b ) and set the Credits property of you mapservice layer?

Works fine for me in all versions tested.

There is an API example of displaying the copyright (based on the service directory metadata) below the map:
