One other suggestion would be to check your virtual directory set up.

I am using a web proxy (varnish on linux) in front of arc server (on IIS). Sometimes, my dynamic map service layers come through fine and other times they throw a security sandbox error.

I have a crossdomain.xml file in the web root of the IIS and can see the file when navigating through the proxy.

I am not too sure where to start. Is this a time-out error or should I move or edit the crossdomain file? Right now it is wide-open to all domains.

any help would be great.
