Search Radius Tool for Flex

I'm looking to create a tool that allows a user to input an address, choose a distance such as 25km, and get a return of the parks (point features) closest to the inputted address.

Does anyone have any suggestions or know of an example I can work off?

Any help would be very appreciated.

Look at the Enhanced Search Widget. It does spatial searches with buffering capability.

I started this widget way back in the 1.x days so yes there is one for 1.3 but less feature rich of course.

Michael,

As many people are using the current version 2.3.1, I don't know off hand of a website that is still using the 1.3 version.
