Table in simple widget

I'm trying to add a link table in the "My First Widget" widget. All I want it to do is essentially say this:

<a href="web URL goes here">Hello World</a>

But I'm not up to speed on this and my attempts thus far to hodge podge luck myself into a solution hasn't worked. Does anyone know what the flex code is for this simple operation or where I can find it so I can read up on it?

I imagine I should specify that I'm using the compiled version of the sample flex viewer.

I tried your text and the result was the widget working but all it said was "Change this text in your config file".

Karl!!!!

I need your help again. When I upgraded to 10.0 and SP1 and 2.2, I lost my link list widget. Are you aware of any coding that would prevent it from working? I copied the folder from the old service to the new service and copied the widget code in the config file to the new config file. The icon shows in the main bar but when you click on it nothing happens and it hoses up service.

Any ideas? I didn't see any code in there hat wouldn't have ported over from 2.1 to 2.2 but then again, I'm not well versed in the code so my deciphering abilities are not good.
