Enabling attachments on a service

Hello,

I am having trouble enabling attachments on a service I created. Not sure if I need to do something specific to enable attachemtns in the service. I am working inside a PGDB and I am using this in conjunction with the Attachment Relate Info Window Widget that Robert J Scheitlin has created.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to search ArcGIS Desktop help for enabling attachments on a featureclass.

Robert,

This step has already been done. In the mxd (using the html popup tool) the attached docs (png,pdf,txt and jpeg) all show up and work correctly. The trouble is getting these to work in the service. Any tips?

Bobby,

In ArcCatalog when you right click on the FeatureClass and go to properties and the general tab does it say

Attachments
Feature class contains attachments?

If not then you need to review how to enable attachments using the ArcGIS Desktop help.

If it does then have to re-published the map service for the change to take affect?

Thanks - I do have attachments enabled and I did re-publish the service. Not sure why it is not being picked up? Once it works properly, will the rest service tell me that 'Has Attachments:' is true (as shown in original post pic)?
