I am not able to see my created Las-Dataset File?

Hey there,

I created a LAS-Dataset File with my LAS Input Data. I runned it succesfully. But if I want to see the Data in the Scene there is no data. Can someone help me?

When you are working with the LAS Dataset in the 2D map do you see the red boxes?

If you do, do you see the points once you zoom in?

Also check the properties of the LAS Dataset. Do you see something like this?

there is nothing at all. I cant see the red box and the points. The properties are like this:

Can you just add the LAS file in Pro to a 2D map and see it?

I also noticed that you LAS is not classified in to the codes?

i cant even add the LAS file into a 2D map.

I uploaded my LAS-File now. Maybe the data is damaged or something like this?

If you cannot see anything in a 2D map, the LAS file may be bad.

I would ask the vendor/supplier of the LAS file about it.

Something simple to try: the LiDAR data may be appearing in a place you didn't expect it. Try to right-click on your new lasd layer in the Contents Pane and choose Zoom To Layer.

Thank you for your help. I tried this already. The only thing i can see is a "white paper". Furthermore i imported the data with the right coordinate system.

So I looked at the file and there is no spatial reference information. What is the coordinate system of this file?

I think that you get that corrected and it will start to work for you.

The coordinate System is 31467. Does it work at your computer now?

Still no luck for me. I would contact the vendor of the LAS file and have them help.

I know, I'm replying to a very old thread. But I'm currently in the exact situation you described: I can see my las data (a mobile mapping point cloud) in 2D Maps, can't display them in 3D Scenes. Property and datum of the datasets seems ok.

Where did I go wrong?
