Display edge dimension labels for 3D objects (buildings) in a 3D scene

Functionality to switch on and off edge dimension labels for selected 3D object models such as buildings and bridges in a 3d scene. See attached image.

This will allow users to get a quick understanding of the size of a building for planning, design and regulartory purposes without needing to manually measure each edge one by one.

I would like to clarify the use case you are describing before adding your feedback to our prioritization board. Are you primarily interested in getting max dimensions of a structure (like max height, width, length to gauge overall size), or is there a need specifically for the dimensions of each edge?

Thanks for your response.

Our use case is to display the dimensions of each individual edge, to help us review design elements such as tower and podium setbacks when we're assessing compliance of a proposed building.

It would also be incredibly useful to have dynamic edge labels when we're using the 2D and 3D editing tools to generate new building geometry on the fly.
