Add right click pan map functionality while adding features

My organization recently updated our Portal version which introduces the Web Editor. Wanted to give that go since I've been using a small JS 4.x API app to do some basic editing for a particular purpose. One thing I don't like is that if I'm sketching a new linear feature and need to pan the map, I have to use the directional pan buttons in the lower corner of the app. In the 4.X API editor widget, you can just right click with the mouse and use the hand tool to drag the map. This is much quicker and more direct than having to click the buttons in the lower corner. It would also be more consistent across ESRI applications.

thanks for sharing your idea.

We have a shortcut that allows you to pan the map while editing data. Hold the spacebar while you click & drag to move the map in selection or feature creation mode.

To view a menu with all the shortcuts, click the Shortcuts icon on the dark Settings toolbar, or press Alt+? (Windows) / Option+? (Mac).

I do wish a simple click and drag would move the map as suggested here.

Holding the spacebar is a good tip to know about, but it's such a hidden feature. It requires repeated explaining to users who may not know about it.

Idea: While feature creation or selection mode is activated, add a small text box beside the directional pan controls to indicate "hold spacebar, left click and drag to move the map"
