I would like to see the trace tool functionality be available for AGOL for polygon editing. Its nice that the snapping functionality exists but Trace Tool would make creating new polygons within AGOL much easier.

I understand the user could just export to desktop to edit, but in my defeats the purpose of using AGOL.

Just bumping this post because there still isn't a trace tool! It would be really useful.

Double bump - it seems like this is being purposely held back, I've seen many open-source packages able to do this, but it appears that ESRI would rather you pay extra for Sweet for ArcGIS to access this functionality.

was disappointed to see that this is not an option yet.
