I agree. This would make automating tasks much simpler for those who are more familiar with .NET than with Python. Now that I've written a few batch scripts in Python, I'm more comfortable with arcpy, but if accessing GP tools from Core Host had been available, that would have sped up delivery times.

I've asked support about this, they suggested to use a Configuration instead of a core host application, but I agree on the subject and think that it should be part of the Core Host application sdk, We used to create a lot of batch applications using ArcObjects that have complex ERM, classes or tools that simply cannot be converted to python.
