Raster to KML

I have raster data that I can show in 3D in ArcScene. It is flood depth data and I can show the depth up a side of a 3D building. I would like to show it in Google Earth but I can't get the raster layer into GE while still showing the elevation information. Does anyone know how I can accurately the raster data into a KML?

Have you tried the Layer to KML tool? Also, do you have a vertical exaggeration applied to the scene?

I have tried it but it is just a flat layer. I don't know that vertical exaggeration is the right term but it is vertically accurate and looks '3D.'

What you may consider is converting the raster to a TIN, create a polygon that covers the desired area and then use the Interpolate Polygon to Multipatch. This will create a 3d object, which should display as 3d in Google Earth. I do not think that Google Earth offers the 'Base Height' Functionality that is available with ArcGlobe/ArcScene. The 3d Object should display in Google Earth in 3d like the other models do.

How do you get the multipatch into GE? I have made it into a collada and that doesn't have any data in it. But I can't get the multipatch to load. And thanks for the help.

You will still have to export the multipatch into a .dae, which should be able to load directly. On Google Earth 6.1, I have that option to load it directly.

I did that. Could it be that I am not using Google Earth Pro?
