https://community.esri.com/t5/3d-questions/extrude-between-and-volume/m-p/1583326#M5341 <P>Hi all.</P><P>I have produced a multipatch between 2 TIN's using the extrude between tool.</P><P>The two TIN's are first the elevation of the ground, then a second one offset by 2 meters. The polygon is the 2D digitization of a sidewalk. My goal is to produce the volume of pedestrian space. Which I have done.</P><P>My issue is that the output is not enclosed, which I need it to be for volumetric analysis. When I do use the enclose multipatch tool, it manipulates the precision of the multipatch by using the lowest z value of the shape. (Selected is the original, 2nd picture shows how the enclose between tool messes it up when "enclosing it")</P><P>To the best of my knowledge there should be no reason for there to be gaps in the shape I originally produced. Why doesn't the enclose multipatch respect the extents of the shape?
