topic Profile Graph displays not the desired heights from a SRTM-Raster. in 3D Questions

Hey there,
I am using a SRTM-raster as an elevation source and am trying to create a profile graph.
Using the create chart/profile graph function in the content pane the displayed heights range from 0 m to 0,8 m
while the graph line is just a straight line from 0 to 0,8 not showing any surface features at all.
The correct heights recording to the SRTM-raster and the topographic basemap range from 28 m to 137 m

Tried this with 2D-lines+Interpolate Shape, digitalized 3D-lines and map notes (densified lines checked).
All methods bringing the same result.

Only when using the Stack Profile Tool the a graph displaying the change of z-values over the OBEJCTID
shows the right heights and surface features.
Trouble is the OBJECTID gives me no exakt information about it´s location

Is there anybody who might know where a mistake was made or if something funny is going on?
