topic TIN Files in 3D Questions

I am having some trouble displaying my TIN files created in the 3d spatial analyst extension and could use some help. After creating the TIN from a raster, I can only seem to view the file from a birds eye view in ArcCatalog? is there no way to view this type of view in ArcMap? Also, when I bring this file into Google Earth, all the 3d properties seem to have been stripped. What could be causing this?
Finally, even when I view the TIN file in ArcCatalog, I cannot seem to get any other GIS data to conform to these contours. Is there a way to place isobars or road data or satellite data in conjunction with the TIN file?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
