Have you considered a 3D drawing programs such as sketchup? 3D Analyst is a poor tool for this type of work. 3D DXF import quite well into ArcScene so i guess you could use 3D capable AutoCAD or any other drafting program that can output 3D DXF.

Hello,
I am trying to digitize pyramid like features. I realize I can use a surface with the interpolate polygon tool. However, It will be a massive pain to create two seperate surfaces for the base and then for the structure tops. I tried creating a 3D Feature class in Arc Catalog and while editing (drawing my sloped walls) I was snapping to 3D Polylines. I figured if it was snapping, the z values would translate. They didn't, the new shape only snaps to x,y coordinates.
Any Suggestions?
