3D marker symbol issue

Hi,

I�??m having troubles with using the 3D Marker Symbol in ArcScene.

What I want to do is to use a scanned image as a 3D symbol for my features. I also want to define the size of my picture to match the length of a linear feature in ArcScene.

To do so I went Layer Properties, Symbology, then I right-clicked the feature I want to assign the scanned image to. I chose 3D Marker Symbol, then I navigated to the location where the scanned image is stored, and assigned the size of the linear feature as the width of my image.

This seems to work, somehow, though I keep getting an error message saying �??Please enter a number between 0 and 32767�?�. This message keeps coming up each time I try to adjust some of the parameters of this symbols, and it�??s quite annoying. I tried to use pictures in different formats (PNG, JPEG, TIFF), and also try to assign integer numbers for the width, but keeps having this error message.

Any help would be much appreciated.
