How to add a 3d Polyline to Web Scene

I'm attempting to export a polyline (with z values) from Pro to AGOL. However, I'm unable to export as a scene layer package or simply a web layer...

In addition, how do you add this to a web scene once it's uploaded to your account? I'm trying to add a building wireframe similar to the example provided by esri here:

There is currently not a scene layer for lines so you will not be able to do that workflow. You can publish the layer as a feature layer and bring that into a web scene and have the layer set to absolute height where it will leverage the z values on the line vertices.

Just to confirm, the way that Esri did it in this example cannot currently be supported?

You can convert the lines to multipatches and use them in a scene layer. Buffer 3D—Help | ArcGIS Desktop
