topic cut fill in multiple areas in 3D Questions

Hi - I am trying to calculate erosion versus distance downstream in a river. I have two sets of lidar data, before and after a large event, and I can make a dem, terrain, tin, etc from these data.

I think the method is to use cut fill in several areas sequentially down the river, i.e the areas are polygons that are about 100 m long and about 80 m wide. But this gets tedious with over 200 different areas.

Is there a way to do a cut fill and then perhaps divide the results by the 100 x 80 m polygons? Or is there some other way to automate this process.

-John
