    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Original User: TSEDLACEK&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi all of you smart GIS folks,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am trying to determine the service area of a manhole.&amp;nbsp; I have created a tin from 2' contours.&amp;nbsp; I have one test manhole with an elevation at the bottom.&amp;nbsp; The minimum slope on our service lines is .004 (irrelevant I know but bear with me). I have created concentric 1' buffers around the manhole with each having an increased Z value of .0045' (.0045 x 1'). Where these buffers intersect the tin will be the service area of the manhole.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;SO I'm now stuck at this point on how to create the polygon depicting this intersection.&amp;nbsp; Do I somehow need to create a surface out of these buffers, if so how?&amp;nbsp; Is this a 3D analyst problem or spatial analyst or ...?&amp;nbsp; I will attach a couple of exhibits from ArcScene so you can get the visual of what I'm trying to explain.&amp;nbsp; I hope I've been clear enough to give everyone a sense of what I'm trying to accomplish....&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks in advance for any help you might have..!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Tom S.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
