In its help is written : "Slope values for line features are calculated as a percent, or grade, for each line segment." When I open the tool for loading the data, I can't choose the slope unit. So calculating the slopes for polylines, in what unit is the slope calculated? In percent or grade? The help of ArcGIS 10.1 is also weird to me with the expression in brackets: "Slope values are measured in percentage units (grade) and, for line features, get calculated at each segment along the line." Is it not a case of either or?
