    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi People,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've recently been running the 3D Analyst tool Surface Volume and have noticed that even when I set my Z factor to 1 it always gets changed to 0.999998.&amp;nbsp; While this is a very small difference, it does create a problem with the accuracy of the data I'm working with.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Currently, I'm running this tool as part of a rather large model, but I have noticed this problem while running the stand alone tool as well.&amp;nbsp; If anyone has any explanation of this or a way to actually get it to stay at 1, please let me know.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;John&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Small update on this issue...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know that the Surface Volume tool, like most Spatial/3D Analyst tools uses floating point values which is the source of the z factor being converted to 0.999998 from true 1.&amp;nbsp; But, I would still like to know if anyone out there has come up with some way to preserve these finite decimals.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
