topic Pause Drawing in ArcScene in 3D Questions

Dear ArcScene users. How would you like to be able to be able to "pause the drawing" in ArcScene like the option in ArcMap, which allows the user to temporarily suspend all drawing so you can make changes to your map, such as changing the symbology of several layers, without having the map redraw after each change.

ArcScene does not have this feature. It would be soooooo useful. Especially since high resolution layers can take a very long time to draw.!

I posted this idea on the ArcGIS ideas web site about a year ago. I just looked and it only had a few votes...If pause a 'apuse drawing' button is something that would be to your benefit, please vote on the ideas page that is run by ESRI.

You can follow this link http://esri.force.com/ideaView?id=08730000000brba&returnUrl=%2Fapex%2FideaList%3Fc%3D09a300000004xET%26category%3DArcGIS%2BDesktop%2BExtensions%26p%3D3%26sort%3Drecent, or google this: "Add the "Pause Drawing" option in ArcScene" to get there.

Thanks a million!!!!
