    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't think the hatching supports 3D info. It is normally based on M information. You could perhaps translate the 3D length to the vertices and store it as M value. That could work, but will probably require some coding.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I can get a 3D length but when I display my hatching/stations they are evenly distributed and should not be going over mountain terrain. Shouldn't the station / hatching intervals get closer of further based on the terrain?.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I got my 3D length using "add surface information " tool but wont hatch using that field.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
