      <title>Understanding Z values in ArcGIS</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I???m not real familiar with z values in ArcGIS.&amp;nbsp; I have several z value feature classes.&amp;nbsp; When I preview (3D view) them in ArcCatalog, I can see the differences in their elevations (building floors for example).&amp;nbsp; Where is this z data stored?&amp;nbsp; I don???t see it in the attribute table.&amp;nbsp; To that end, for testing purposes, if I create a building floor feature class with z values, how would I input the z values into the feature class?&amp;nbsp; Any input would be great.&amp;nbsp; Or if there is some documentation explaining this, that would be welcome as well.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thank you&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
