Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to get information out of a sun shadow volume? I created some sun shadow volumes from a building, but now I would like to know for instance how much percent of the day a point catches shadow. Is there a tool in ArcScene to calculate that?

Another problem that I've got is when I execute a sun shadow volume the shadow volume is going through other buildings. Is there a solution to cast the shadow on the ground and the other buildings instead of going right through it?

I am having the same issue using ArcGIS Pro,the shadow of the building is not touches the building boundary. its some where in the air. Seems its assuming the building any where else.... Please suggest how to solve this issue???

Hi, I am doing a project that create the shadow from a 3D building model.
Therefore, I also want to know is there any tool used for analyzing how much percent or time that a point or a area catch shadow.
