ArcGIS Pro 2.5, Student License, doing the NorthridgeQuake assignment from "Getting Started with ArcGIS" ESRI course, and my problem seems the same as above: I have duplicated all my layers to play with from 2D to 3D and vica versa, and the swipe works a charm in the 2D, but not at all in the 3D.

Any experienced insight would be much appreciated

Wilf

PS. On further investigation, I'm noticing that the "Flicker" button greys out, but the "Swipe" button is still selectable, though I'm not sure if it's because it's not working with 3D Scene, or because something in my layer doesn't allow it to work in 3D. Not sure if this is a useful hint or not, may have nothing to do with the price of tea in China
