topic 3D overview of multiple project-related point clouds in 3D Mapping Questions

Hello,

I work for a utility company and we plan to implement a 3D overview of our projects. I am new to Esri 3D world so any tips would be highly appreciated.

We are testing a point cloud generation from a video using a third-party application. It receives a video from a mobile phone and creates a georeferenced point cloud if GCPs were used. The solution has its own portal but we want to integrate it withing our GIS system because everything revolves around that. So I was wondering if there is a way to have a dataset that contains all the point cloyds at one place and allows to append to it. It should be able to accept queries so we can easily search for a needed location and dataset/point cloud based for example on a project number. I was thinking about Arcgis Scenes but I have never worked with it so I do not know what it is capable of.

I must have missed many details in my explanation above so if do not hesitare to ask for more details. I would be hapoy to privide it.

Basically, we want a project overview where we can search for project details in a dashboard-like overview and be able to open a scene viewer.

Cheers,
