ArcPro 3.1 Hello, Sometimes when I use the Evaluate Rules geoprocessing tool or the error inspector while evaluating batch calculation rules nothing happens even though previously the rules ran. Usually takes about 2.5 minutes with my rules as they are slightly complex and involve some iteration but ends up taking closer to 10 seconds even though the data has changed and calculated values should be different. Is Pro caching the results somehow? Is there a way to turn this off? The tools run successfully but the calculated values do not change.

Hello, were you ever able to figure this out with the Embed widget in Exp Builder? Need access to secure services without a UN PW log in prompt but I have not been able to get the redirect uri right - I would not be surprised if it is not possible. They also just changed it to 8kb so it wont be useful at all anymore, but we are still on 10.8.

Hello, Im trying to use Filter to summarize the next hours worth of data but getting an error for formatting, does anyone know why that would be? the error does not happen in the sandbox.... function reducer(previousVal, val){
return previousVal + val;
}
function calc1hrSumForManyFields(intervals, fieldsArray) {
var fromTime = $feature.datetime;
//var fromTime = Text(fromTime)
var toTime = DateAdd($feature.datetime, 3540000) // 59 minutes in milliseconds
//var toTime = Text(toTime)
var sumIntervals = Filter(intervals, 'datetime between @fromTime and @toTime')
var sumArray = [];
for (var field in fieldsArray) {
Push(sumArray, Sum(sumIntervals,field))
}
return Reduce(sumArray,reducer)
}
var allIntervals = FeatureSetByName($datastore, "Interval_20230201",['*'], false);
var id = $feature.count_id;
var targetIntervals = Filter(allIntervals, `count_id = ${id}`);
return calc1hrSumForManyFields(targetIntervals, ['en_inner_volume','ws_inner_volume'])

I have a dashboard here with a pie chart in it - the labels keep appearing out of the boundary that the pie chart has even when I expand the section. can someone help to suggest which settings I should modify for this problem? https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/00197adac22f4b06a3f410068d43a641

Hello, Im trying to publish a script tool to a geoprocessing service whose values are dependent on one another. I have a field that has "State" and another field that is dependent on it to choose a list of weather stations filtered by that state (values are filtered using the updateparameters validation function. . Is there a best practice way to do this? I have not been able to get the filtering value function to work within the geoprocessing widget in WAB. Thanks!

Hello, Is there detailed documentation about what considerations there are when choosing between relationships inside of an enterprise geodatabase and relationships stored in native sql? Can we begin a discussion? Its my understanding that ArcSDE will not necessarily know about relationships that are not relationship classes in an enterprise geodatabase. When should we choose one or the other?

ah I found https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-api-for-javascript-questions/editor-widget-and-typescript-can-layerinfo-accept/m-p/1004354#M70898 which explains that teh docs say that in typescript this is not possible and you must cast geoJSON layer to Featur Layer, ive done that and it works but field configs object does not work. thanks,

ahh thank you so much Undral, totally missed that in the documentation! do you have any idea why Typescript is complaining about layer not being of type Feature Layer? Is this expected behavior @UndralBatsukh ?

Hello, I'm not able to get the Editor widget to work with a GeoJSONLayer in the 4.22 version, but in the 4.21 version with the same code, it works. I don't believe the configuration has changed at all, which is why I'm confused. The first screenshot is Editor widget working correctly in 4.21, the second is the same code in 4.22. Im swapping out the versions in the script tag. Im also getting a typescript error when building with ES modules in the same situation: Is someone able to check if this is happening to them?

This is a great idea. Some text fields need to be searchable and aren't defined categories. Or they are defined categories, but they are concatenated into one field.

Hello, I may be thinking about this all wrong, but I cannot figure out why I cant set a property based on the value of a triggered event within a custom widget class (my event is a date input). what am I getting wrong here? I know this is probably a simple solution... but I don't get why it wouldn't be possible to set a value within a class when an html element belongs to that class..? It doesn't make sense for me to move the date selector out of the class... because it is central to the widgets functionality. How do I set that value? // declared property im trying to change
@property()
ed:String = this.TodayPretty; // setting to another property I have made as default
private _eDateHandler(e:Event) {
let target = e.currentTarget as HTMLInputElement;
console.log(`changed ed to ${target.value}`)
this.ed = target.value // fails to change the state of the widget
}
// further down in HTML....
<input
type="date"
id="ed"
name="End Date"
onchange={this._eDateHandler}
value={this.TodayPretty}
></input><br/>

I second all of these sentiments. Working with even simple graphics and text in Pro layouts becomes a huge laborious task. People ask me for edits that are necessary at a timely basis but Im just over here waiting for Pro to respond. All data held locally. 32 GB of RAM. No other resource intensive applications open on my computer. What's going on under there? Why is it necessary to own a super computer, or invest in cloud GPUs to run your application well? I'll experience the same amount of lag in Illustrator, only after adding hundreds of layers with the same comp specs. - Also, I have Pro on the Absolute lowest graphics settings, important to add.

Is this what you meant? hm Register a service worker seems to be a reference maybe to an old form feature layer that was once in the app that has since been removed..
