Hi Michael Currently it is limited to one metadata url for a feature type on the interface, if you need to add multiple urls, you can try to edit the capability file manually by copying and adding more metadata section like below: <MetadataURL xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/wfs/2.0" xlink:href="http://xxx/geoportal/rest/document?id=%7B7F793BE5-B828-44B1-8A13-0A140C131127%7D"/> The following page has information on how to custom a capability file: Create the feature download service—ArcGIS for INSPIRE | ArcGIS Enterprise

which version of arcgis for inspire is used? the url can be slight different depending on versions, e.g. typically for 10, it will be http://server:port/arcgis/services/servicename/MapServer/InspireFeatureDownloadService?request=getcapabilities&service=WFS for 10.1 SP1 and after http://server:port/arcgis/rest/services/servicename/MapServer/exts/InspireFeatureDownload/service?Request=GetCapabilities&service=WFS Thanks!

I think that's for the initial map extent, with 1.2.5, it should zoom to the area of the added map resource automatically without have to comment out that line, don't have a 1.2.2 instance on hand, you might check the sandbox site http://gptogc.esri.com/geoportal (which has 1.2.5) and compare to see if behave differently. there might be some limitation with earlier versions.

when add to map, the flex viewer map extent should automatically change/zoom to the extent defined in the resource normally, you might check if the extent in the metadata matches, sometime if it is defined to global, will not see the extent change, which version of geoportal are you using?

I didn't try on Windows 7 Home premium before thus not sure. From the screenshot, I see it created the schema name "geoportal", does it create the login role as well, if it does, the first command might have run successfully. also did grants_pg.txt and Geoportal_Schema.txt report report any error after running the commands? following are example of command: grants_pg localhost 5432 postgres geoportal postgres geoportal create_schema_pg localhost 5432 postgres geoportal Thanks!

Hi, The steps in the "How to Set Up an Esri Geoportal Server" article should still be valid, but you should download and install the latest version of geoportal (1.2.2) instead, the following link contain more recent information for the new version including software requirements and installation guide. http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/geoportal/index.php?title=Installation_Version_1.2.2 I attached a screenshot how the database will look like after installation. Thanks, ZhongPing
