Mark, thanks to you, I was able to retrieve text, number and checkboxes, the only thing I am still unable to retrieve using Windows based Survery123 is date and time. The date and time works perfectly fine on other platforms, but, not Windows. Can you pass date and time field to your survey form, and then check if you can retrieve it or not? Your current survey form is just retrieving the current date and time, but, not from the any field.

Thank you for replying Mark. I tried your URL and tested it. This is what I get: Can it be because of the Survey 123 or Collector version ? I am using Collection 17.0.3.0, and Survery 123 is version 2.6.7.

We have a webmap with a URL link to Survery123 app. When the user clicks the link, the Windows Collector app takes the user to the Windows based Survery123 app; but it's doesn't auto-fill all the data fields. This process is working fine when using Collector and Survery123 in Android, as its able to pull through for all the fields in Android, but for some reason Windows version just isn’t pulling the information correctly. It misses dates, checkboxes and numbers. The only data it is pulling in is string/text.

Hello Everyone, I need to get JSON feed from a live feed using server's websocket. I have the URI of the websocket. I need to get the feed after completing the authentication process. But, what do I need to do in order to send the authentication string. As right now I have one input connection (Subscribe to External Websocket....) and TCP as output. After connection is built the I receive the following message from the server: websocketdef, 1, 401, Please send authorisation file. Your authorisation file has expired Now, can anyone tell me how do I send the authentication string? what do I need to add? Am I even using the right input connector? Will be waiting for comments.....

Morakat, One question, can I do my above task with using just the geometry of the feature layer rather than creating thousands of geofences to achieve the task ?

I have 20GB RAM in my server and its a four core. When I try to import a GeoFence (10000 points), the system gives me this error: GeoFence FATAL ERROR: Your system has ran out of memory! We are attempting to free up space now. However the system might be in a non-recoverable state! Be prepared to restart your system if necessary! Its only using 7GB of RAM and it gives me this error. Is there a way to fix it ? Can we increase the cap on RAM usage? Lastly, is there any other way using which I can match (perform point in polygon type of thing) the assets on the ground with incoming points?

Thanks Morakot, yup after sending the above comment, I went back to work and thought of the exact same idea; i.e., to create buffer for each incoming points. And yes, you are right that the process takes a while!!!! Let me upgrade my RAM from 6GB to 12GB and will share the result here. Thanks once again!

Hi Morakot, I have a question, and I think you are the best person to ask it from. Before going straight to the questions, let me briefly explain what I am trying to achieve with GeoEvent. We have 27000 assets (points, polylines and polygons), stored as feature layers (3 layers). We get a real-time JSON feed (points) from a URL, which we need to plot on the map. Now the output that I need to achieve is that, if the points (from the feed) lies inside or in a close proximity (1 kilometer of the point) of an asset(s) on the ground (static feature layer on Operations Dashboard), then the system should notify user via an email that the “point (from the feed) is inside or close to Asset say 123”. The only thing I am stuck is how to check whether a point is in close proximity/inside an asset? how can i achieve this, do i need to create 27000 geofences? or is there another way of solving this problem? Thanks in advance Morakot Pilouk

I have 27000 points and I want to create a single GeoFence, but keeping their (points) identities/attributes intact. My main objective is identify if an item/marker is in that GeoFence and also return which points inside the GeoFence are closer to that item/marker. RJ Sunderman Thanks!!!

Hi, I have a link using which I get a certain feed from a site. Now in that link I pass a date and it returns the data from that point forward. Now issue is that everytime the input connector runs it gets the complete data starting from the date in the query. Is there a way using which i can only get the new/updated records only and not the whole deal? Like is it possible via GeoEvent input connector to check and retrieve only the new data, and not the full load ? Thanks
