Hello, I am having issues adding a raster to AGOL. I am trying to add a slope raster file I generated from a DEM to an AGOL web map. Ideally I would like the slope values to show in my table of contents and legend. I have heard of work arounds such as concerting to KML then uploading, but I would like the data of my raster to show in the TOC. I have gotten projection errors when trying to upload as well, does the raster file have to be in web mercator to display on the map? I am also creating some other raster layers based off of a suitability analysis and my final map will be a heat map of sorts showing suitable areas to built infrastructure so using rasters is important for visualization. Thanks,

Where are you using the clip type options for inside or outside? This is the raster clip function but I do not see that option for outside/inside.

Hello all, I have a DEM file I am working with. I want to take a polygon of a water body and remove those elevations from the elevation dataset. What I want to do would be similar to the erase tool but instead of vector data I am working with raster. The DEM file would look something similar to a donut after this. So far I have come up empty-handed as I try to figure this out. Does anyone know how to do this or know of a work-around? Thanks,

Hello, Is there a way to overwrite a feature with the same name using the arcpy.conversion.FeatureClassToGeodatabase() function? I have set my overwriteOutput = TRUE already, but when I run the conversion, it does not overwrite my feature in my gdb as I would want. It will rename it "AOI_1", "AOI_2", etc. I thought setting the overwrite output to true would do that to all functions?

Thank you for sending me this page with information to updateConnectionProperties(). I did not see any code in here that could change the data source of just one layer in my aprx. For my script I would want to change the data source for just my AOI that could potentially come from a Shapefile that comes from an external source. Can you specify how that might be done?

Hello, Is anyone aware of any useful functions using arcpy.mp that would allow me to select one particular layer in my table of contents and then change the data source of to another file path?

My knowledge on CIM syntax is scant. So I have not tried it yet. I will read up on it more though.

Hello, I am working on an automated map script that will allow me to import a Shapefile, assign it a pre-defined symbology, zoom to a layer and export a map. I am having one issue when I bring in my input file. I am using the addDataFromPath() function to bring in my data, and it indeed brings it in fine. However, the file shows up in my table of contents and legend with the text "_Layer2", "_Layer3" etc, after the name of the file I bring it. I would like to simply rename what is in my legend and TOC to something I want such as "Project Area" or "AOI", etc. Does anyone here have the experience with arcpy.mp to get that to work? Thank you for your time!

Hello, I am trying to project a .obj file from my Drone Deploy software to plot in an ArcPro local scene. I am able to plot point cloud data easily but compared to the .obj data the point cloud data is pretty poor for visualization purposes. I am able to bring in one in through the import 3D files function however since it is not projected it plots off in the middle of nowhere. According to Drone Deploy these .obj files are not projected and are only for visualization through their web portal. It kind of strikes me as odd that such a high-resolution and high-quality data file would not have spatial reference if it is downloadable. I am curious if anyone has tried to project these datasets somehow or if there is any tool I am not aware of to get it to plot in a 3D local scene. Thanks!
