I have ArcGIS 10.6, Windows 10, 32 GB RAM, Intel Core i7-5930K CPU @ 3.5 GHz and ArcGIS Pro 2.2.1 I ran the Clip tool (under Data management/Raster/Raster processing/) on the same local data multiple times with these times: 1. 32-bit ArcCatalog 12 parallel instances (parallel processing 100%) *** 11 minutes 2. ArcCatalog with 64-bit background processing installed (no PP) *** 17 minutes 3. ArcPro *** 21 minutes This goes against all the advise I've gotten on why to move to ArcPro. I understand this is only one tool, but it made me wonder which type of tools are better in Pro or ArcGIS for speed. Another odd note - The rasters created with the 64-bit process #2 were twice as large! I reused the same clip command from the results window to make sure nothing was changed except the output name.

Hello, Does the navigation tool in the Profile view window allow you to rotate your profile? I can only pan/zoom and the help says it rotates also. I have 10.1 sp1, full license with extensions. Also, when I click the 3D View, after selecting a profile, it show my whole LAS extent, not just the profile area that I selected. This is counter to the tip in the help: (Tip: You can also view the points displayed in 2D Profile View in a 3D view by launching 3D View while the 2D profile view is open.) Are these known bugs? Take care, Barbara

Thanks Dan that does look like the sort of thing I was after. Just tried to install though and it will not let me as I have limited rights to my work computer but if I get a chance I will try get IS to install for me. On another note the map I was doing on Friday got changed on Monday and the request was now for one of the labels to have a three colour circle. After a quick search I found this page http://mappingcenter.esri.com/index.cfm?fa=ask.answers&q=1395 and installed the Esri wedges fonts from Mapping Center's ArcGIS Resources - Styles page. Great font to have with different size wedges to use This must be so obvious so no one explains it, but I can't figure out how to install the wedges font. The directions said to open in a browser window, right click, hit 'install' - But I don't see anything that says install. I tried in Windows, ArcCatalog, I opened Fonts in the Control Panel. So far I just have it sitting in my downloads folder. I tried adding it in symbol selector, (style references, add style to list) but the symbols are wrong, so I think they have to be installed.
