I'm running the Imagery Classification Wizard as well (Pro ver 3.2.2) and getting a different error: Training Classifier... Failed at Tuesday, April 9, 2024 11:29:59 AM (Elapsed Time: 15.52 seconds) with that "Workspace or data source is read only" error, I'm wondering if this might not be a space issue. I only have like 100 GB of free space on this machine, even though the data source for the TIFF I'm classifying is on an external hard drive. One of my techs got the same error and they have like 132 GB of free space, but they've been running classification wizard for weeks and I've seen processes like this get pretty space-heavy after awhile. I'm investigating, but I thought I'd post to see if this sparkles with anyone - any input would be appreciated

@MarceloMarques Thanks for the reply! I should have made clear in the original post that before compressing, I Rec & Post all child versions and delete so sde.DEFAULT is all we had at the time. Much obliged for the links and info - I'll look into the use of multiversioned views to provide outside access to the table - but please note that ths table is part of a workflow that involves an interface with a separate system - they update fields with data from our ERP system and the main issue is that the interface is unable to find new records to add data.

ArcGIS Server 10.6.1 We have a table that's shared with another department who uses calculations in the table for customer billing. Lately They've been complaining that they are unable to see changes we make to the table in GIS when they view the table in MSSQL. I'm thinking the edits were stuck in an older state, so I ran Compress and had them re-check and the changes were still not visible. I dove in and checked SDE_compress_log and saw that after the last compress, end_state_count = 2 I have run the Compress tool 20+ times trying to get to a single state but to no avail. I've stopped all ArcGIS Server services and can verify that there are no connections in Pro; I even tried to delete the record directly in SQL, but still can't get that last state to compress. I know it can be done - I can scroll back through the compress log and see us at state count = 1 in the past, but for some reason it just won't take this time. Any advice on shaking this loose? Am I missing something obvious? TIA for any thoughts on the matter.

we've been using AGO for several years and recently I've seen an uptick in credit usage. Investigated and discovered this is largely because of several large layers that had attachments. Some of these are fairly static datasets - intersection cards and tax maps that won't change. Others are Survey123 features with tons of records that are updated regularly. In the past, rather than use attachments, we used links in the attributes and stored attachments on ArcGIS Server. Is it possible to do similar in AGO - maybe use the ArcGIS Feature Data Store to host some of these attachments?

OK thanks for the feedback @ArchitSrivastava For authentication on the Portal, we use SAML (from our on-premise Active Directory) with a single identity provider. Re: your request for a screenshot - I kept developer tools open while I built a new collaboration and saw no messages until I tried to open the synced layer in AGOL. I've attached the screen shot below. Hope this is what you needed thanks again for you help

hi there @ArchitSrivastava, thanks for the response! Enterprise version = 10.6.1 Not sure I'm clear on what you're asking re: authentication - I'm using my admin password, although as I stated, I get the same results with any credentials I've tried sharing as references and copies with the same results this is a good question - I see the service in ArcGIS Server Manager and on Portal, but when I navigate to the REST services directory, the service is not there I'm going to try to sort this out and see if something doesn't become more clear thanks again for the response - I'll keep you posted

I succesfully created my first Collaboration between Portal and ArcGIS online - I can see the FL in the AGO folder but I get an error whenever I try to add it to a map: https:// ... /FeatureServer?f=json status: 504 I thought status 504 was generic for a timeout? there are several layers in the FL I'm sharing and I'm not above splitting them into smaller groups or even publishing one at a time if that's what it takes ... thoughts?

I had the same issue as the OP - users could see the survey and submit surveys in the field on the S123 mobile app but were unable to see the survey in S123 Online. In my case, I had neglected to share the RESULTS with the users' group. Once I shared the results with the group, they were able to see the survey and access the Data page.

the first time I saw this I was still developing the web map, so I just rebuilt it. this AM our field staff reported seeing the error; in the office, the map was fine. I had field staff delete/reinstall Field Maps and they report it's back in order thanks @gis_KIWI4 for the tip!

@RaenaBallantyne_DeMaris did you put in a Support ticket for your issue? Esri can't investigate if they don't know about it. I had intended to start a ticket for my issue today, but as I stated it went away and I know from experience you don't get much traction with "this thing happened this one time and then stopped". We may be able to get a ticket started and just have it open in case my issue comes back.

UPDATE: this morning, field staff report that they were able to submit saved surveys from yesterday. I'm able to access the FL in AGO with no sign if the "! undefined" error and I can access the survey in S123. So far no data has been lost, but I'm initiating an off -site backup procedure. If this issue persists I may need to find a new solution
